Meet the Founders
The people behind Avdah
Sam and Eyal started Avdah with a simple goal: to give great people a better opportunity to show who they are, while making hiring and research easier and more thoughtful for the teams trying to understand them.
Eyal Lubin
Co-Founder
Eyal grew up in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia, and is currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania, Class of 2027, studying Behavioral Economics and Data Science. A lot of his interests sit at the intersection of politics, philosophy, and human decision-making — understanding why people think the way they do and how systems shape behavior.
Outside of work, Eyal is usually training for some kind of physical challenge (right now it's the 2026 Philly Marathon), reading through an endless list of book recommendations, or thinking about how to make systems work better.
Sam Koffler
Co-Founder
Sam grew up in New York City and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 2026, where he studied Cognitive Science and Data Science. He's always been drawn to understanding how people think and interact, especially the gap between what shows up on paper and who someone actually is in conversation.
When he's not working on Avdah, Sam is usually out on a long bike ride, playing the violin, or hanging out with his golden doodle, Scooby Doo.
